Few years ago I had a tracheostomy done. I am fine now but I do have the tracheal tug scar. Do I go to a ENT or plastic surgeon to fix it. I heard it is a simple procedure.

Either: I am a plastic surgeon and have improved many tracheostomy scars. I am sure that there are otolaryngologists who can say the same. The most important factor is to go to a surgeon who has a lot of experience with this procedure. I have to see a ENT dr cause I have high fevers this been going on for 3 weeks want to know what a ENT dr will do when I go there?

FEVER: What is the cause of your fever? Why do you need to see an ENT? Did your doctor diagnose you with ear, sinus or throat infection? Do you have a neck mass? We have no idea why you are seeing ENT to anticipate what kind of evaluation you are going to have. There is nothing to be worried about. It will be an office exam and I'm sure you will be told what to expect at the visit. ...Read more

Chronic laryngitis: I really am not familiar with the term, chronic granular pharyngitis and I am an ENT that does voice work. He or she can work with you to modulate the voice to get better faster. Good luck. Feel better. ...Read more
