Not recommended: It would not be a good idea to use MiraLAX in the setting of a dilated colon unless you knew for sure why the colon was dilated. If there was an obstruction causing the dilatation, it could be dangerous to use the MiraLAX. I would not recommend this unless your doctor prescribes it.
