I bumped my head twice today not hard but I have a headache but I took an Advil (ibuprofen) so I've heard it increases bleeding so I'm scared.

How old are you?: Low risk. Advil, (ibuprofen) like other NSAIDS, reversibly binds to platelets, unlike their predecessor aspirin which irreversibly binds for the lifespan of a platelet - 120d. Once a platelet is bound by aspirin, it can't clot normally. Not so with NSAIDS, which are cleared by the kidneys. Have someone keep an eye on you, check your alertness, behavior, pupil symmetry & reactivity for 24h. Any changes -> ER. ...Read more
