Left weights: That sound like a good game plan. I think just being patient may do the trick. However, if you hit a roadblock and want to add something, you can try lifting weights. If you can put on some muscle it will help you burn fat. I think lifting weights is very undervalued for weight loss, and may be more important than cardio. Diet pills like Phentermine don't so much burn calories as they do curb appetite. Laxatives and diuretics will cause dehydration and electrolyte abnormalities and possibly arrhythmias. The only concern would be if the absorption of the thyroid were affected by the fiber; that's not an issue if you take your thyroid pill on an empty stomach.
