If : If your thyroid levels are well controlled on your current dosage, you are like a normal person. The only concern would be if the absorption of the thyroid were affected by the fiber; that's not an issue if you take your thyroid pill on an empty stomach. Your question suggests you are knowledgable about healthy eating and I would guess that you are pretty good about drinking water. It could: Fiber is filling and can come from low calorie foods such as fresh vegetables. If half your plate is fresh vegetables, and 1/4 plate is 3 ounces of meat, chicken or fish. And 1/4 plate ( about a half a cup of complex starch such as whole grains( which are also high in fiber) or 1/2 cup beans ( also high in fiber) you should be full on fewer calories and lose weight in general. ...Read more
