Eat fish for Omega 3: Our bodies don't convert omega 3's from flaxseed into the epa & dha readily available in fish (oil). There are some attempts to make epa & dha from seaweed & algae but otherwise, read label for epa & dha content. You won't see much from flaxseed products nor will you get much conversion either. Wouldn't eat it: in large amounts all by itself for any of them. Total calorie intake in a day is probably the really really bad feature. So, if you're 500 pounds but only use soy oil, you are going to have health problems. All are better than the basically indigestible transfats. None are especially healthy.
