Not sure: I haven't come across any study that shows prevention of kidney stones with above. If you are having recurrent stones, will need to make sure that your serum calcium level is not high. Certain dietary changes can reduce kidney stones formation, including drinking 6 to 8 glasses of water a day at least, avoid sugary drinks and weight gain. No need to use.: Water does the same thing. Cranberry juice doesn't clean out your kidney any better than any other juice. There is still some banter and common use of cranberry juice for preventing or treating uti, but evidence for this is weak. UTI: You would have to drink so much cranberry juice to prevent UTI that you would drown in it. Cloudy urine is very common and is usually due to chemicals precipitating out when the toilet water changes the acid/base content of the urine. Not a myth: Cranberries contain a chemical, proanthocyanidin, which interferes with the ability of bacteria, especially e. Coli (most common species of bacteria to cause urinary tract infections) from adhering to the bladder lining. Bacteria are thus flushed out urination and are unlikely to cause an uti.
