Balance

There is always a balance to consider in these situations. Not all babies give clear indications on the monitor that something is wrong, and stillbirth, when it happens, happens mostly without warning. You can talk with doctor about your specific situation, as well as the risks of prematurity at 37 weeks. Typically, the balance at 37 weeks lays with inducing labor to prevent stillbirth.

Is it possible to carry full term pregnancy if your tubes are tied?

Confusing question

If you became pregnant in spite of having your tubes tied, as happens with IVF fertility treatments, you can carry a baby to full term. With tubes tied, you don't have a natural pregnancy. The sperm cannot get to the egg. If one re- attached, and a fertilized egg made it to the uterus, it could carry to term. Tubal pregnancies will not survive and end up in emergency surgery.

As distressing as it can be to have a miscarriage. Having 2 is actually not that uncommon. Most women in that situation are still able to have a baby. You should go see an ObGyn and discuss your history with them. Depending on the visit, they may tell you to keep trying or they may order some tests to look for reasons you miscarried.

Yes, but see a REI

You still have a chance of a healthy pregnancy 'on your own', but after 2 or more miscarriages we do tests to find out why. Possible causes include autoimmune conditions like antiphospholipid antibodies, blood clotting disorders, low egg supply, problems in the uterus like fibroids or a uterine septum, hormonal problems, or male or female genetic problems. Get checked out by a REI specialist.
