Ultrasound is a valuable tool to use in ob, (check dates, position of placenta, growth of baby), but sometimes it is overdone, because it is risk free, and parents like to see pictures, and drs. Like to 'make sure' they are not surprised. It's a wonderful tool, that sometimes is used to much imho. ...Read more
