Depends...: There are many COPD inhalers that can be prescribed so it is difficult to answer your question without knowing the inhaler that was prescribed. I get real wheezy and use inhaler atleaat four times a day and have neck pain and right shoulder pain what could be wrong are the two related?
Not related: I assume you are using your inhaler for a pulmonary (lung) problem. Lung disease does not cause shoulder and/or neck pain so I can say with a fair amount of certainty the two conditions are unrelated. For your neck/shoulder pain, see a pain medicine specialist who can not only tell you what is wrong but make you better as well. Good luck. ...Read more

I am an asthmatic and I wanted to know whether I should be taking regularly combihale fb 200 inhaler or not? 2-3 times a day 2 puffs each
No: Combivent (albuterol and ipratropium) (or albuterol) should not be used as the sole agent to control your asthma. In fact, if used regularly, it may make your asthma worse. Contact your family doctor to get you on a controller drug (eg. Inhaled steroid) if you have asthma more than twice a week. ...Read more

I'm pregnant and have very serious asthma. I puff my proventil (albuterol) inhaler atleast 6-7 times a day. Can using my inhaler too much harm the baby or me?
Yes: You need to see your obstetrician right away or go to urgent care or emergency room. If you are using your inhaler that much, then you need a steroid to be added to your daily regimen so that you don't run the risk of a full blown asthma attack which can harm you or the baby. Definitely call doctor today or if you're having any shortness of breath, go to emergency room today. Best of luck. ...Read more

What to do if I have had asthma my whole life (i am 46) and I took very poor care of myself using rescue inhalers 6-8 times?
6-8 times a day?:
If this is what you mean you are not being controlled. Rescue inhalers are exactly that- for a rescue. I would first get tested by your physician to determine any damage from long term lack of control. Then follow his/her recommendations regarding treatment. The proper control can reduce lung damage.
Good Luck ...Read more

Diagnosed preasthmatic because I cough too much at times. Using inhaler stops it, but it can start again. Coughs triggered by cold air, smoke, perfume?
Sounds about right: Not sure what the question is. There is a cough-variant asthma and it sounds like you have that and that it is triggered by cold air, smoke and perfume. If you are using the inhaler more than once a week to stop the coughing fits then you should see an allergy/asthma specialist for further evaluation and treatment. ...Read more
M suffering frm bronchititis asthma at d age of 16 bt I m taking levolin inhaler 2puffs 2 times normally n immunity is low how it can be cured fully?
No Cure: Asthma for some people can be a chronic condition. Asthma is not only the squeezing down of your airways but also the inflammation of those airways. If you are only taking Levolin and need this daily, you may need to see a physician to discuss adding a maintenance medication of inhaled steroids daily. This may not be a cure but it will keep your symptoms controlled. ...Read more

Not the medication: Something (eg. Viral infection, post nasal drip, smog, acid reflux) is triggering your asthma. Its presence will continue to trigger the attack.
