My toddler ate curried rice with green onions & stir fried vegetables with ginger. His balls became red after poop & painful on touch. What should I do?
Possible irritation: Poop can often be very irritating to the skin. If the redness is limited to his scrotum following his poop, that is probably the cause. I would wash him with mild soap and water and use a moisture barrier such as vaseline or desitin (zinc oxide diaper cream) on the red areas. If the irritation persists, plan on seeing his pediatrician in the morning. ...Read moreSee 1 more doctor answer
