Not really.: Prenatal pills are just multi-vitamins. While most of them contain iron, which is known to help hair growth, and some contain biotin (one of the b vitamins), which is also good for hair, they are not present in high enough dosages. You are better off just taking the iron and biotin - or better yet, let a dermatologist try to find out what is causing your hair loss in the first place. ...Read more

If deficient in a: mineral or vit it might. Get adequate sleep,avoid excess sugar & fat, v carbonated drinks, eat enough protein, exercise regularly. Totally OK: It's best to take pre-natal vits BEFORE one becomes pregnant, as they're most important the first 2 weeks of pregnancy and many women don't know they're pregnant the first 2 weeks. Thus ALL women of childbearing age who are sexually active should take pre-natals preventively. Pre-natals are a multivit. with a limited amount of Vit A (too much A bad if pregnant).
