A Lot!: Vitamin d is best produced in the skin with sunlight! when we live in climates such as areas in canada and we can't get adequate sun exposure and we are at risk of vitamin d deficiency. We have supplements, but our milk and juices have also been fortified with vita d. Vita d is necessary for strong bones.
