Hydroquinone: Hydroquinone can take a few months to slowly fade the dark spot. Sunscreen is very important as well. I would first follow up with your dermatologist to make sure that it deemed to be the appropriate treatment for the dark spot, though. I hope that helps.

I have burnt my eyes' orbital areas with dettol and now developed a scar. Since 15 days I am using mederma cream. What do you suggest Sir and how long will it take?

Do you mean a sun-: Burn? Mederma is onion skin derivative and works best on thickened hypertrophic scars. I would see a dermatologist or ophthalmologist for correct diagnosis and treatment

Does clobeta gm cream work to remove scars?

Does clobeta gm cream work to remove scars?

Unlikely to work: Clobeta gm cream is a steroid cream which can lessen inflammation and is used to treat autoimmune diseases. It is not generally useful for scars. It is best used to prevent development of scars in conditions such as eczema.

Will vitamin E cream take to heal scars?

Will vitamin E cream take to heal scars?

Possibly but...: Vitamin e cream is a common home remedy for scars but there is little evidence it works; still many people have found it helps- applying oil from natural e capsules may work better than cream. There are many other remedies that may help, including calendula cream (my favorite), peanut oil (advised by edgar cayce), tamanu oil, raw honey & aloe vera. See http://www. Earthclinic. Is there any scar removal or lighting cream that actually work on acne scar?

Is there any scar removal or lighting cream that actually work on acne scar?

Not reliably: First priority is to treat the acne. Once this is under control, the scars can mature, and hopefully fade. If the scars do not resolve see a board certified dermatologist or plastic surgeon for available treatments. There are many, because none are prefect. Bleaching creams, even the best ones, work about 1/3rd of the time with proper, long term use.

Which scar cream would work better for flattening on an old keloid scar?

Which scar cream would work better for flattening on an old keloid scar?

Really none.: If you have a true keloid scar the best first line treatment is steroid injection. If that fails to improve the keloid to your satisfaction the next option is excision which comes with very high recurrence rates (and can come back worse than the original) and a postop regimen of silicone, pressure, and in severe cases even radiation treatment.

Which one works best for ice pick scars or box scars on face? Mederma Scar gel or Scarzone Scar Diminishing Cream SPF 15, 1 oz?

How do I remove a black scar happened as a result of burn from first level and it's on my chin, I tried meboscar cream but it didn't work out for me.

Try mederma cream: Try a different over the counter cream called Mederma and see if that works. If no luck, see a plastic surgeon to see what other options are out there.

No one is perfect: Other than telling you to accept your legs as they are (probably the healthiest and most rationale thing to try to do), you could consult a plastic surgeon or dermatologist about your scars.

Will Triamcinolone cream work without having a Triamcinolone injection or similar steroid injection? I am reducing the swelling of a scar. Yes or no

This is not a good: Topical for scars. Injections work better than topicals for scars, but if you use a topical it should be a high potency one not mid potency like triamcinolone. hope that helps

Does contractubex gel works on depressed scar from scratch or I can use silgil cream on it (this is for 4 year old boy)?

Does contractubex gel works on depressed scar from scratch or I can use silgil cream on it (this is for 4 year old boy)?

Contratubex first: Contratubex antiinflammatory and moisturizing properties should benefit scar remodeling over time, ameliorate and blend appearance, and hopefully keep scar from entering a hypertrophic stage. That said, silicone creams/tapes/films work indirectly by inducing a relative hypoxemia/collagenolysis thereby softening a hypertrophic scar over time. Both require consistent, long term application.

Dime size skin discoloration from old scar on top of shin where skin is most vulnerable. Derma prescribed hydroquine 4 cream. Will it work to lighten?

Dime size skin discoloration from old scar on top of shin where skin is most vulnerable. Derma prescribed hydroquine 4 cream. Will it work to lighten?

Yes, but be careful: Two things to keep in mind with whitening agents is that they are potent, and can whiten areas you didn't want whitened. So you have to apply sparingly with gloves, and just go to border of this area, and make sure to keep sun off of it while on hydroquinone. Also, check ewg. Org skin deep to see what's in the formulation too. You may want to reconsider, and see if time will help fade the discoloratn.

What over-the-counter creams can really work on reducing the appearance of acne scars?

What over-the-counter creams can really work on reducing the appearance of acne scars?

Acne scars: These can be very difficult problems depending on the depth. I recommend you see a dermatologist or plastic surgeon. Over the counter creams really provide very little in most instances.
