According to the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists, only 5% of babies arrive on the exact due date. Approximately 7% of babies are not delivered by 42 weeks, and when that happens, it is referred to ...Read more

How long will it take to get pregnant when you decide to get off birthcontrol?

How long will it take to get pregnant when you decide to get off birthcontrol?

Maybe 8-12 months: The average woman(if there is such a person) takes about 4 months to get pregnant if periods are regular and you have sex 2-3 times /week. More sex is not more better. If you are not pregnant in 8-12 months, see your doctor. If your periods are a 28 day cycle, try no sex, day 9, 10, 11. Then sex, day 12, 13, and 15 counting from the 1st day of bleeding. How long will it take to get pregnant if your partner is taking steriods and we are using a ovulation kit we have been trying now for 9 months ?

No one knows: There is no way, outside of in vitro fertilization, to reliably predict the timing of a pregnancy. I'm not sure what sort of "ovulation kit" you've been using; timing intercourse with presumed or expected ovulation can be helpful but is no guarantee. If you have been trying for over a year, or have specific health concerns, a fertility specialist may be able to help (but still can't predict!). ...Read more

Can you tell me more about seasonique birth control? And how long will it take to get pregnant after not taking it for 2 weeks now?

Can you tell me more about seasonique birth control? And how long will it take to get pregnant after not taking it for 2 weeks now?

Could be any time: Some people even get pregnant while on the medication, so it is difficult to tell when you will. Seasonique, like other ocps, suppresses ovulation and thus prevents pregnancy from occuring. When you are off of it, you could get pregnant whenever you ovulate, provided there are sperms around to fertilize. Generally it takes longer to get pregnant the longer you have been on the pill. Good luck. ...Read more
