Depends: By the time baby is spending more of her time upright & not laying down, gravity is no longer aggravating the process as much & it has a chance to round out. If the skull is visibly distorted, shifting one ear& part of the face forward as seen from above, a specialized helmet can be worn to help speed the reshaping.
