If I got no option by any chance can I use water as medicine into nebulizer to help in cough or breath cases?
Improves cough: All that would do is like a humidifier, it may improve your cough and hydrate the secretions. Better to use Normal Saline to avoid swelling of the cells due to the water being hypotonic, and yes, we don't recommend to use water alone especially if no limit. It can make you feel like drowning with more swelling of the airways and cells. ...Read more
Can I use Optical sterile normal saline drop solution in mixing Vebtolin nebulous 2.5mg for a 4yrs old kid inside a nebulizer or would water be better?
Not advised: Optical sterile normal saline could have preservatives in it that should not be inhaled with the nebulized medication. The company that sells the respirator provides normal saline to be used for mixing. Water is not the same as saline and may be harsh compared to saline. In an emergency, I would recommend this recipe (including appropriate steps to clean materials). http://tinyurl. Com/oacp7go ...Read more

Cough syrup, Nosal drop and steam are not affecting much for my 1 month infant, can I give him nebulizer with saline water.
? irritants?: The first months are troubled by narrow nasal passages exposure to dust, fragrances, smoke & other irritants. This often ends as congestion & produces rattling with breathing. The best rx is washing out the nose with saline & SUCTIONING the remainder. Eliminate irritants from babies environment & this will happen less. Cough syrups make them worse. Nasal drops without suction are a waste of time. ...Read more

Can Ipratropium Bromide cause a bronchitis like cough? Whenever I use my nebulizer I cough so hard and it will last for minutes.
TrySteamFromTeapot: Yes. Kind of like the first time you smoke, or if you take a hot toke. There's the medicine in there but also the propellants. They can irritate. So you have to decide if the benefits of using that medication outweigh the short-term discomfort. Also try to breathe in faster and deeper, then hold it for 10 seconds. That sometimes works. Gets past the upper cough reflex structures quickly. ...Read more

Please don't.: Please don't squeeze or scrub! Your skin is not a pot, it should not be scrubbed. In the long run it will only make your acne worse. Also, your pores do not open or close, so don't bother trying to do that either. Try an over-the-counter benzoyl peroxide product, and if that doesn't work, let a dermatologist give you a proper treatment plan, which will be cheaper in the long run and prevent scars. ...Read more
Wash it twice a week: A healthy person using a water bottle to carry clean drinking water is unlikely to get an illness from "harmful" bacteria in the bottle. Neither the water nor the bottle are sterile, so there will be some bacteria, but probably won't cause disease. Rinsing the bottle with a little drinking water at each refill will help keep the bottle clean. Actual cleaning of the bottle can be done twice a week. ...Read more
