Depends: How quickly growth plate fractures heal depends on a number of factors. The most important are probably: which bone is fractured, how severe it is, age and the general health of the child. That being said, children do tend to heal more quickly, and growth plate fractures heal more quickly than other fractures. Possible: If that was the same side as the injury, it could absolutely have something to do with your current symptoms. Since it is causing problems, see a hand surgeon for a consultation.
