How Long Should You Be Outside Every Day
Do I have to take My perscription for Mono-Linyah at the same time every day? or does it matter as long as I take it daily?
Same time each day: Mono-Linyah is a combination (2 ingredient) birth control pill, and should be taken at the same time each day. Taking it at "the same time" means plus or minus a couple of hours. In reality, with combination pills, taking a pill many hours late may not noticeably increase the chance of pregnancy that month (taking a pill late is more risky if using progestin-only (1 ingredient) pills). ...Read more
I give 7w baby 4oz formula on demand every 3-4 hours and at longer stretches during the night. Usually 24oz per day. Is that too little?
Dr. can check at 3mo: A young baby makes his own schedule and will fuss or cry if still hungry. Healthy babies are fed "ad lib", which means we let the baby decide how much to drink. (Usually, after 3 months of age a normal baby can be allowed to go 6-7 hours at night without feeding or other parental interaction.) The pediatrician can check the baby's growth at the 2 month check up next week, to make sure it's normal. ...Read more
Im 26.Decided that i want to strech every day to try and do splits. How long does it usually take? Any precautions? What strech routine is recommended?
Variable: The time it takes to do the splits is highly variable and depends on how tight your muscles are at onset. It also depends on which type of split- straddle/ split leg. The important thing is to take it slow and easy to avoid injury. Perform stretches that mimic the position you are trying to achieve. Hold the position for 20-30 seconds- don't force. Keep repeating. It will gradually get easier. ...Read moreSee 1 more doctor answer
My 2 month old son eats 4-5oz of formula every 2 hours during the day. When should he start eating more or how long should be keep eating this amount?
Depends on age & wt: Most infants will tend to increase their intake over the first few weeks and then level off between 28-35 oz/ 24 hours until they weigh about 15 pounds, and then additional intake is needed. For most babies, this is usually around 4-6 months, so solids are added then. Some 2 month old infants will take 7 oz x 5 bottles a day, others 4 oz x 8/ day. If your baby is happy and growing, no worry. ...Read more
Dinner at 11 pm , and then fasting all the way till 11 pm next day again. I have been doing it for the past 6 months continuesly . Lost 50 pounds within that. Why i dont have appetite for as long as 24 hours every day. I just have 8ounces of water?
Unhealthy: I don't recommend going that long between meals. I recommend a checkup by your physician to make sure there are no medical abnormalities to explain your poor appetite and weight loss. If nothing abnormal is found, try to eat several small feedings throughout the day and early evening. Prolonged fasting can lead to metabolic abnormalities that cause anorexia. ...Read moreSee 1 more doctor answer
