Does an epinepherine endometrial adrenaline injection side effects last? And for how long? I had a biopsy today and they injected me inside my cervix.
Not likely: It sounds like they injected some Lidocaine with Epinephrine in your cervix today for a biopsy/colposcopy? Those medications they infected have a super short 1/2 life, meaning they don't stay in your system for very long at all. Definitely all gone by the time you wrote this question. No lasting side effects. Hope biopsy comes back normal! ...Read more

I'm 35 weeks preg. I had mild cramping and got admitted to the hostipal last night, the doctor said my cervix is softening, how long until labour?
In hours to weeks: Science has not yet discovered a reliable method for predicting the onset of labor in women. The mild cramping you had experienced may be transient and the softening of your cervix may occur hours to weeks before labor begins. Wish to remain pregnant until at least 38 weeks for your baby's sake despite your discomfort. Premature delivery before 37 wks is not good; can be a terrible complication. ...Read more
About 18 cm: The choice of suture material for your laceration is quite large. Usually the doctors choose sutures that are dissolveable/absorbable, so they do not require a second procedure for removal. The sutures are about 18 cm long to accommodate handling by your doctor. More important than the suture is the cleaning, protection and care of your laceration. ...Read more

There might be swelling, or a hematoma (bleeding under the skin) which can further prolong the pain. Obviously minor trauma will heal faster than major. Ice can help reduce the swelling, a hematoma is usually self limited and will resolve over time. If concerned go have it checked. ...Read more
