Likely, no: CA 125 is not recommended as a screening tool for ovarian cancer when used in risk-based stratification. Meaning, assuming that your mom or sister didn't get diagnosed with ovarian cancer. Normal for women with endometriosis to have elevated CA-125. Possibly: Menstrual imbalance or irregulariy can be due to multiple factors including anxiety states, besides hormonal imbalances that can be trigerred due to disease conditions, multiple drugs (even OTC ones) etc. If you dont resume regular periods in a few months, have an OB/Gyn to check you for other causes. ...Read more

Make sure you're not having any elevated fever, chills, or abnormal vaginal discharge. Intrauterine infection should be ruled out by your physician if this continues. Hi last month i was diagnosed with 3 fibroids all out of the uterus and one of them being 8cm long my doctor suggested we start trying for a baby with?

Get a 2nd opinion: Depends exactly where the fibroids are because they will grow with the pregnancy and can cause a lot of pain and other problems if they get too big, i would get a 2nd opinion from an infertilty specialist. ...Read more
