Give it a couple day: Lay off the offending exercise, take a day of rest between workouts. Sounds like U just jumped in & gave it all U had. Not the way 2 start. Ease into a program than fits Ur goals & abilities. Costochondritis....: Costochondritis is due to inflammation of the cartilage of the rib cage. It can appear suddenly. If pressing on the affected area of the chest wall reproduces the pain, costochondritis is probable.
