Hard to say: It depends on where in the pack of pills that you stopped taking them. If it was at the very end when a period would otherwise be due, then 3 to 5 days. If in the middle of the pack, it is undetermined the number of days the bleeding/spotting will continue. ...Read more
How long does breakthrough bleeding on BC last? It's been 5 days so far but I doubled up twice this month so I understand there will be irregularities
BTB: First, I would check a pregnancy test as BTB on the pill might mean a pill failure. Second, you might need either a new pill or increased dose of estrogen in the pill. Call the prescribing physician and alert them of the spotting. Also, STD's can cause spotting so consider that as well. ...Read more

I am very skeptical: That breakthrough is caused by antibiotics. Let's say that would be REALLY low on the list. If it persists into your next menstrual cycle check with your doctor; if not, can likely forget it. Good wishes. ...Read more

3 weeks after sex: A positive pregnancy test can tell a woman that PRIOR spotting was actually implantation spotting. It can be hard to tell if a woman is pregnant because some of the symptoms seen in early pregnancy can also happen in non-pregnant women.
