Is cast too tight?: Sometimes, there is swelling after a cast is applied. Such swelling can be serious and cause ongoing pain. Generally, if your broken bone is casted correctly, there is not much pain on a non-weight bearing area. Are you using your arm too much or putting strain on it? Have you reinjured it? It : It sounds like your back is worn out and have degenerated disks and possibly collapsed vertebrae. It is possible your nerves are being pinched when you are in certain positions.
