Deoxygenated blood enters the lungs from the right side of the heart and travels to the lungs. When you inspire, oxygen flows into the lungs, transverses the capilliares and attaches to hemoglobin down a gradient. At the same time, co2 diffuses into the capilaries and is expelled with exhalation. Oxygen rich blood then flows to the left side of the heart and into the ...Read more

Depending : Depends on many things. Young patients with blood clots and/or family history of blood clots need to be screened for hereditary causes. I : I cannot provide a diagosis for your symptoms. As a psychiatrist, i can tell you that normally, i would want to ensure that possible medical diagnoses have been ruled out before i stated that a problem is solely behavioral health in nature. I can also tell you that many medical conditions can cause marked anxiety and panic. I recall being called to the emergency room once to see a man who was very axious. I looked at his ekg and the cause of his anxiety soon became apparent. He was having an acute myocardial infarction (heart attack). This is not in anyway to suggest that you are having a heart attack. Symptoms of panic attacks can include discrete epidoses of panic or extreme anxiety (usually lasting 10 minutes or less for acute part), rapid breathing, chest tightness or pain, nausea or butterflies in stomach sensation, feeling lightheaded or dizzy, numbness or tingling, rapid or pounding heart beat, fear of going crazy, fear of dying, feeling very unreal, just to mention a few. ...Read moreSee 2 more doctor answers

How long can someone who suffered a massive stroke at 42 and has now developed blood clots in lung expect to live?
Tough to say: First of all, sorry to hear about this unfortunate turn of events. When the lungs become blocked with clots, the symptoms can range from none at all to immediate end-of-life. Thus, it's impossible to give your specific answer to this question. It depends almost entirely on the symptoms from the stroke and the extent of blockage in the long blood vessels. Good luck. ...Read more

I am on clexane injections since the doctors found a blood clot on my lung last week can i still have my tattoo ive booked a few weeks ago?
Not a good idea: It’s truly best not to. The fact is you *will* bleed more receiving the tattoo. Your doctor won’t want you to get it, and a reputable tattoo parlor won’t want to give it to you. And the reason is that it’s not in your best health interest. The timing with the clot just did not work out. ...Read moreSee 1 more doctor answer
