How Long Should Atopic Dermatitis Last
I have atopic dermatitis for a long time. Isn't there a long term solution for this? I am mostly using oinments including corticosteroids.

If it takes long time for atopic dermatitis to heal from allergy shots, which other method is proven to work? Acupuncture? Herbal tonic? Any other?
Moisture/antinflam: Atopic dermatitis is managed by reducing the tendency to scratch, which causes a flare, so reduce all forms of rubbing; cetaphil/ probiotics. If worse, consider low potency, short course (< 2 weeks/episode) topical steroids, Elidel or Protopic for < 2 weeks/episode; atarax/ Benadryl q.I.D., p.O. Helps interrupt the scratch/itch cycle. Yoni is 18mths old. Has had atopic dermatitis for 6 months. Treated for a while with hydrocortisone and last few weeks the dermatologist switched him to Elidel (Pimecrolimus). His dermatologist had him do blood tests to see if he wasn't allergic to gluten
What's the question?: I don't understand if there is a question here. But I think gluten allergy is not the most likely cause for atopic dermatitis but egg allergy is.
