How Long It Takes The Side Effects Of Omnacortil To Diminish
How long does the side effects of omnacortil take to diminish. Like puffy face and weight gain. Afte the stopping of the steroid?
Depends...: It depends on how much you were taking and for how long a period of time. Your doc will slowly try to lower the dose of steroid that you take hopefully to nothing over a period of time (this might take months). Then for the next year if your body is seriously stressed medically you may need to go back on steroids for a while. Talk to your doctor about this. ...Read more

Water retention, acne, weight gain is common but does not necessarily diminish with time. If it can be switched to a inhaled form, the side effects candiminish dramatically. ...Read more

Maybe, but: Ask your retinal surgeon. I allow patients to resume exercise when I feel that they are out of danger of redetaching the retina. It can be anywhere from a month to three.
