2 yo has fever from flu shot yesterday. Med brought to 100.4 how long fever last, how high can temp get, should I use meds or let it run it's course?
My father had tace for hcc one month ago. He is still getting fever about 100f. No infection found in the tests. How long fever takes to go away?
Could be tumor relat: Fever from tace is usually gone in 1, 2, 3 weeks. If it is still touching 100 degree or higher, it is likely due to tumor which may be growing. I would suggest looking for tumor progression (check serial liver functions/ progressively worsening?) and repeat his liver imaging studies with ct scan or MRI to determine the cause of his persistent fever. ...Read more
? Teething Fever?: I'm not convinced kids have teething fever & if they do it would be low grade at most. Since teething can encompass the first 3 yrs & the are due for 5-7 respiratory & 3 diarrheal illness/yr at the same time there is bound to be some overlap.
