My 3 year old got the flu shot 3 days ago, last night she ate mcdonald's chicken nuggets doesn't usually eat that. Diarhea & vomiting all night?
Probably nuggets but: Most likely this was due to the nuggets, which i would never eat or feed to my child (see http://foodmatters.Tv/articles-1/whats-really-in-chicken-mcnuggets-scary) but she could have a GI virus. Can the flu last for 3 weeks? Or is there something else.Vomiting, fever, abd. Pain, weakness, diariha. I feel so cruddy. My doctor isnt really helping
No.: Influenza does not cause vomiting or diarrhea, so it is not flu. It likely started with a viral infection of some sort, though. Stop taking the pepto, eat more "constipating" foods (bread, bananas, rice, etc.), rest, and see your doctor. ...Read more

Some children get pneumonia with the flu. He will need to get examined and possibly get a chest xray to determine if this is the case. And then he can be treated. Sometimes vomiting occurs after coughing fits or after swallowing mucous. Vomiting is not usually concerning, as long as the child remains well hydrated, is acting normally and the vomiting is not bloody or bile-colored (green). ...Read moreSee 1 more doctor answer
