How Long Does Vaginal Discharge Associated With Pregnancy Last
Yellow/Brown vaginal discharge with odor during pregnancy is that normal, could it be from my progesterone suppesitory?
Possible BV: You may have an infection like bacterial vaginosis. It is treated with a vaginal gel or pull and is one of the most common causes of vaginal discharge with odor. You should see your doctor and have them examine you and treat you if needed especially since you are pregnant. Sometimes infections that are untreated can increase your risk for preterm delivery.
When your due date arrives, you will be more than ready to have your baby! Most women deliver the baby somewhere between 37 and 42 weeks. According to the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists, only 5% of babies arrive on the exact due date. Approximately 7% of babies are not delivered by 42 weeks, and when that happens, it is referred to ...Read more
Normal cycle: I would advise a warm water douche and figure that this is old mentrual blood. If it persists beyond 1 week, see your GYN.
Discharge: Your white discharge is normal following plan B

Check for preg & STD: At this point (> 2 wks after sex) a urine preg test is just as accurate as a blood test. If you have not yet checked an over the counter urine pregnancy test, you should do that. Or as Dr. Engrav suggested, if your discharge is different than your normal discharge, you should be seen by your primary care provider or a someone who can evaluate you for a STI and check your urine for pregnancy test.See 1 more doctor answer
Vaginal discharge: Consult your ob/gyn for exam to rule out yeast infection.
I have brown vaginal discharge for the past 2 days. My last period was a week and a half ago. What is causing this?
Infection or other: This could be due to an infection or blood. I would consult your obgyn, but if you begin to feel weak, fatigued, or feverish, i'd definitely consult your doctor immediately. Having discharge can lead to worsening problems if not addressed soon.
Clear watery vaginal discharge for last 2 weeks (no odor no pain dries white) Had unprotected sex before this. What is it?
I have brown vaginal discharge for the past four days. My last period was about two weeks ago. What could be causing this?
See your doctor: Brown discharges are not normal from the vagina and could reflect infection, contamination, or more esoteric things, you need a proper vaginal examination (speculum and all) to get this checked out. Could be old blood or even part of a tampon left behind.
I finished my period last week and just about 20mins ago I noticed a pinkish colour in clear vaginal discharge. What does this mean?
Maybe nothing...: A pinkish color in your vaginal discharge by itself usually isn't a red-flag. If you have other symptoms such as itching or an odor you might have an infection. It can also be the result of intercourse. Best wishes!
Is bloody discharge a sign for something serious? I am a virgin and skipped my period last month, now I have bloody vaginal discharge.
The: The way the menstrual cycle works is that in the weeks leading up to your period, your hormones cause the lining of the uterus to build up in preparation for implantation of a fertilized egg. If there is no fertilized egg, then the hormone level drops and the uterus sheds its lining and that is the blood you see during your period. Sometimes when you skip a period, that lining is still just sitting in your uterus and bits may come off causing bloody discharge as you await your next period. Common things that can cause a missed period are: - pregnancy - excessive weight loss or gain - stress - travel - illness - increased exercise - medications (especially certain birth control methods) also, many women are irregular and miss periods in the first couple years they get their periods. Bloody discharge is more concerning if there is a concern for a foreign object in the vagina (such as a forgotten tampon), if the woman has already undergone menopause, or if it is associated with pain, foul odor, or pregnancy. If you have any questions, please contact your doctor to discuss further.

Yeast: This sounds classic for yeast infection. You could try an over the counter anti-fungal from the drugstore, and then if that doesn't work, see a doctor for a more thorough exam and testing. Or you can go straight to doctor. Pearl color discharge is normal.

Irregular Periods: Irregular periods could be from several things. It could be from infections, mid-cycle bleeding, skipping your birth control pills, other hormonal problems. I recommend you continue to monitor and if it should continue, you should see your doctor.
Over last 2 weeks I have had increasing vaginal discharge. It is thick, white and sort of chunky (sorry tmi) there is no smell, itching or burning....
Not sure: However, pregnancy can give such discharge but you say you are not pregnant. Secondly hormonal changes, diet, new medications can all cause such changes. In yeast infections, one can have such a discharge even without the itching. If this continues to worry you, see your doctor for a thorough evaluation including a Pap smear if not already done.
Infection: This could be from an infection. See a doctor to get tested. Best wishes.
