Yes: It is possible that you are developing preeclampsia. Sudden weight gain, swelling, and BP elevation are all signs and symptoms of preeclampsia although it's hard to make the diagnosis based on these alone. Your : Your post is confusing, especially the part about "dermail". Nevertheless, this sound like a skin infection that may require antibiotics. As you stated it could also be an insect bite, but again it sounds infected. You should see your physician as soon as possible for a diagnosis and plan of management. ...Read more
