See your doctor: If you are using otc meds, the are not always effective. Sometimes a prescription antifungal is needed. But there are other types of rashes that can look like ringworm. See you doctor for a recheck. ...Read more

Likely not ringworm: Skin rashes are common in infants & a single patch of rash can be a lot of things.From drool rash to ringworm to allergic reaction, etc. If it improves with hydrocortizone it is probably not ringworm. It doesn't sound worrisome at this point so you can bring it up with your pcp at the next scheduled visit. ...Read more

I have a red circle like rash that consumes most of my buttox and goes down my legs i've tried ointments and powders nothing gets rid of it. Don't think it is ringworm. But i'm not sure?

Annular rash: What ointments & powders have you tried? If you've used antifungals (lamisil, etc) without success, best to see fp or dermatologist. Rashes are often hard to diagnose without being seen, especially after they have been the object of hopeful treatments. ...Read more

Rashes: Are hard to diagnose without being seen. A rash in the inner elbow area could be eczema. You can try coconut oil or aveeno (oatmeal) lotion and see if tat helps. Ive got a rash all over my brest, neck, back ect. They are round dime size red dry in the center and red ring around them like ring worm. Antifungal cream hasn't worked at all and they are spreading all over. I work so much no time to do to a Dr . please

Rash red smallish bumps, itchy spread over months from nape of neck down back to thighs/. Doesn't look like ringworm but could be other fungal?

Best to have it : Looked at.Hard to say without additional information.May just be heat bumps and dry skin.In the meantime, you can take some antihistamines like benadryl, (diphenhydramine) Claritin , Allegra , zyrtec or any generic equivalent to stop you from itching and avoid skin infection. ...Read more
