How do I differentiate cholinergic urticaria with miliaria rubra? I got rashes all over my body only after a few weeks of excercise.

CU changes rapidly.: Cholinergic urticaria (cu) will change within a few hours, if not, within a day; comes on more rapidly and leaves more rapidly. Cu will blanch. Taking a hot shower can bring cu instant on. Antihistamines done aggressively will help cu but not so much the heat rash of miliaria rubra. Cholinergic urticaria tends to be more uniform in appearance.

It is just: A matter of time. Should have cleared by now unless your baby also have problems with cradle cap which may have made it worst. This is a very common rash seen in almost all babies ranging from mild to severe. Wipe face off with water. Avoid wool type clothings which may irritate the rash more. Talk to your doctor.

Yes.: Likely just contact dermatitis. 1 or 2 applications of a medium potency steroid cream should resolve problem. While irritated, avoid antiperspirant. If persists, seek medical attention.

What is it?: Miliaria responds to removing the cause. One fooler is pityriasis rubra. Another is acne mechanics. There a few other mimics. I hope you find the explanation.

Yes. Up to 2 weeks.: Augmentin (amoxicillin and clavulanate) is Amoxicillin augmented with clavulanic acid. It enables Augmentin (amoxicillin and clavulanate) to kill bacteria resistant to amoxicillin. Like Amoxicillin Augmentin (amoxicillin and clavulanate) can cause an allergic rash - hives and angioedema usually appearing right after the 1st dose - or an Amoxicillin rash - red flat or raised spots that don't itch appearing on the 7-10th day of treatment. Once drug is stopped each rash is gone in 2 weeks.
