Can I use the emergen

Emergency contracept: Yes there are several products available to be taken within 48 hours of possible pregnancy to attempt to prevent this. Plan b, preven, or ulipristol (which can be effective up to 5 days after intercourse). Emergen is actually a vitamin supplement which is not likely to prevent pregnancy. Good luck. ...Read more

Could a tilted uterus cause vaginal burning and pain during sex I have never had an underlying STD just bacterial vaginitis and yeast infection?

See answer: ~20% of females born in the U.S. Have a tipped/tilted uterus which simply means that the uterus is not in a normal up and down placement but tipped forward or back in comparison to where it should be aligned. Though usually asymptomatic, it may be associated with pain during sex or menstruation. Vaginal burning unassociated with sex would not be a typical symptom. Gynecologist can provide answer. ...Read more

How long do I need to wait before having sex after taking fluconazole for bacterial vaginosis? What do you suggest?

BV or yeast?: Fluconazole is used for yeast infections and does not treat bacterial vaginosis; BV usually is treated with metronidazole by mouth. Whichever infection you have and treatment given, it's best to wait until symptoms have cleared up before resuming sex. If sex is otherwise inevitable, for sure use a condom. Sounds like you should recheck with the doctor about your diagnosis and best treatment. ...Read more
