Nausea & vomiting every morning not pregnant. 4 months pp.Been twice to the ER in the last 3 months and the keep saying stomach flu. What is cause?

ER: This is not the place in which to undergo evaluation for a chronic process. This needs careful assessment with history, physical exam and labs and possibly endoscopy or other procedures and should be done by a doctor with the time and training to do this. Stop minocycline: Minocycline itself can cause stomach upset. If you do have gastroenteritis, your stomach has enough to deal with at the moment. Let your doctor know you are stopping it. You can resume it on your doctors advice after your gastroenteritis resolves. ...Read more

Undigested food in: the stomach stimulates the stomach to contract and release digestive enzymes and when one has an acute infection, the contractions or peristalsis can result in vomiting.
