How long does juvederm usually last?

How long does juvederm usually last?

6-18 months: Juvederm is an "HA" (hyaluronic acid) filler that is offered in the US as "ultra" and "ultra plus". Ultra is more supple and typically used for thin skin areas (tear trough, lips, nose), whereas ultra plus is more robust and used in thicker skin areas (nasal folds, cheeks, chin). Which fillers last longer: restylane, juvederm, teosyal, esthelis, aquamid, or bio alcamid?

You may end up with volume where you don't want or need it. ...Read more

I had juvederm 1 syringe in apple of cheek 4mo's ago. Had IPL one month ago. Burning/gnawing sensations last 3mo's but has increased. Is nerve dying?

I had juvederm 1 syringe in apple of cheek 4mo's ago. Had IPL one month ago. Burning/gnawing sensations last 3mo's but has increased. Is nerve dying?

Uncertain: I see the procedure was reversed so I guess there was something wrong. It could be the nerve was injured or compressed Neurontin may help its healing. It should heal in time but I would speak to a neurologist and explain everything that occurred including what the filler is and where it is deposited. ...Read more
