Lots of things: Rashes are nearly impossible to diagnose correctly without seeing them, especially with so little information. Is it light or dark? Raised, flat, or depressed? Fine bumps? Big welts? Does it blanch when you push on it or no? Are you sick or well? What other symptoms do you have? If it bothers you, and to get it properly diagnosed, see your doctor. ...Read more

No: In fact atopic eczema and psoriasis are nearly 180 degree opposite to each other in term of the immune reactions. Cortisone is a non-specific anti-inflammatory agent which however may help both conditions although better and safer alternatives may be required. The itchy rash on your chin is likely from a contact allergy with hair preparations being the most likely suspects. ...Read moreSee 2 more doctor answers

I have this red, lumpy, flakey and itchy rash on my chin for nearly 3wks. Pretty sure it is ezcema, I am using DermAid cream on it and it's not workin?
Irritant?: If you live in an arid area, it may be from dry skin. This causes itching and your constant rubbing and peeling of the scales (I just presume) just perpetuate it. Try some Hydrocortisone cream on it for a few days then apply moisturizer on area after washing your face regularly thereafter. Let me know if this works for you If you were a man , I would have guess allergic reaction to aftershave. ...Read more

A few days: Allergic reactions to antibiotics are not common but it may happen. An IgE mediated reaction to a medication may usually present early and with hives and may need interventions such as medications. A late reaction to a medication ( a few days later) that is non-IgE mediated will typically go away on its own once medication is stopped, but it may take another 24-72 hrs to resolve. ...Read moreSee 1 more doctor answer
