Not necessarily: You should not assume your baby will be this way. In fact, if your baby is cow's milk sensitive/allergic, breastfeeding is the best way to go as long as you avoid dairy in this case. Can milk thistle strengthen digestive system? I had my lft test and that was ok. But still. My digestion is slow and weak?
Not particularly but: Milk thistle has many benefits for liver function and may somewhat improve digestion of fats by improving gallbladder function. But slow weak digestion may be related to issues with your stomach or pancreas and milk thistle has no effect on these. You might be low in hydrochloric acid or digestive enzymes. The most important thing you left out in your post is if you have seen a medical professional for this problem. If not that needs to be done asap. The easy simple answer here would be gas. Try over the counter beabo or gas-x. Also, you could be dealing with lactose intolerance, try a week with no dairy products and monitor for improvement.
To answer your question, "is it anything serious" is very difficult. The most worrisome thing would be a tumor (benign or cancerous) but that is not very likely. However, in order to get to the bottom of this you need a medical work up.
Best of luck. ...Read more
