Relax, Don: It's unlikely that your HIV screen would be negative six months after your risky event. You're welcome to repeat in a year or pay a big charge for PCR (which would be absolutely definitive). But, the new HIV viral testing using dna is accurate from 21 days ago. If you have a high risk exposure you need to get this better test.
