47 male.Cardio said my heart is slightly enlarged.I had high BP and cholesterol that required meds.No longer take them due to weight loss/lifestyle changes.Now both are normal.Will my heart decrease?
Size doesn't matter: I'm in sports training right now and my heart's big once again. The size of the heart is not a concern. I'm an autopsy pathologist, and 100% of obese people have enlarged hearts simply from carrying the weight. Ditto if you're doing serious athletics. How long does it take for a heart rythm to go back to normal after a 30 minutes fast walk/jogging? is it normal to still be in the 90 after 45min of finishing exercise?
Hr after exercise: It depends how much you are in shape. Is it the first day of exercise after being not so active for a long time .and also what is your bSeline HR before the exercise . Usually no it does not take that long for hr to return to normal -10-15 min of resting should make you very comfortable , drinking fluids also help .
