I wouldn't worry about the swelling, which is the result of tissue inflammation and destruction, unless it continues to grow or function is significantly impaired: nasal obstruction impairing breathing, throat obstruction, etc. If you don't have pain, I wouldn't take ibuprofen just for swelling.
