How long does it take for a Lymphoma blood work panel take to get results? Had 2nd set of lymphoma panel done Friday and was curious and nervous.

It varies...: "Lymphoma blood work" is not a specific term. Some blood tests take a few hours (standard chemistries or blood counts) whereas others may take a day or more. If the blood was sent out to an outside lab, then shipping and reporting may take longer than the test itself. Also note, surveillance of lymphoma typically depends more on physical exam and radiology studies than it does on blood tests. ...Read more

Blood work shows excessive amount of b12 >1999. Its been 3 weeks since B12 supplements were stopped. How long does it take B12 levels to go down?

It may not: I'd stop worrying. Some folks have high levels of the protein that carries B12 around in your bloodstream. This may be genetic and in any case, nobody understands it. It doesn't seem to be a problem, especially if you're well otherwise. ...Read more

How long should it take to regulate my thyroid after a thyroid eradication ? I took the radiation pill a year ago in december and my thyroid is still not regulated. I have blood work done every 6 weeks and my pills keep changing.

It : It usually takes 3-6 months to get the thyroid regulated after i-131, but it may take a year or more. Been taking 2mg flm a day for about three months..how long will take to leave blood..my doctor ordered blood work from lab for drug screen?

What medication??: assuming that "flm" means film, I will further assume you are talking about buprenorphine (suboxone/subutex) 2 mg per day. This is a very long-acting drug, albeit in a low dose, but it could be present for significant amount of time. Blood is actually not the appropriate place to look for most drugs, with a few exceptions - suboxone is not one of them. May be present for several weeks. ...Read more
