How long would levonelle (the morning after pill) delay ovulation?

How long would levonelle (the morning after pill) delay ovulation?

It depends!: The effectiveness of the morning after pill is related to a delay in ovulation produced by the burst of Progesterone that you get from this medication. I would say, in general, that i would not expect it to delay your cycle for more than 1-2 weeks. How long it delays ovulation is similar, but likely depends on whether you took it before, or after you ovulated. Remember to take a pregnancy test! ...Read more

If i took a plan b pill before would that have delayed my ovulation date? If so by how long? i took it fertile days leading up too ovulation

Wouldn't delay ovul: Plan B will not delay your ovulation. Plan B functions by preventing fertilization by altering tubal transport of sperm or egg. It may alter the endometrium (lining of the uterus) to prevent implantation which is needed for cell growth. Ovulation is the release of your eggs from the ovaries and Plan B does nothing here. So it would not delay your ovulation. ...Read more
