Virus likely: This is most likely a viral infection which runs its course in several days; however if the throat symptoms worsen instead of gradually improving,get a rapid throat culture to make sure that it's not a strep throat as this requires antibiotic treatment whereas viral infections don't. Not surprising.: Viral infections, especially the flu will cause malaise and generalized weakness. If you have not been able to sleep and rest while you had the flu, it's not surprising you feel the way you do. Get plenty of rest and you should starting feeling better soon. ...Read more
