How Long Does Blood In Stool Associated With Gastroenteritis Last
I recently had the stomach flu and had blood in stool. Went to ER said it will go away. I still see spots of blood in stool. Its been 7 days. Normal?

If there is much blood mixed with stool more serious possibilities include diverticulosis, inflammatory bowel disease or a growth in the colon. For persistent, heavy bleeding evaluation in the hospital emergency room is needed. ...Read more
