Hi Dr, I am having sinus congestion for over a month and have been treated with antibiotics as well, but it is still there. Should I just let it be?
Antibiotics will treat a bacterial sinus infection but won't help with viral infections nor will they help with the swelling and congestion. I would recommend OTC pseudoephedrine (its a hassle to get - you need ID and have to sign for it) but that in my opinion is the best for sinus congestion. A gentle nasal saline spray may also help
