More or less: If done correctly a negative result is reassuring. However, it depends on when you may have been exposed to HIV as it may take occasionally take 6-12 months for antibodies to form. You may repeat the test in 6 months and if it is negative and both of you have been in a mutually monogamous relation, that would be good. For good health - Have a diet rich in fresh vegetables, fruits, whole grains, low fat milk and milk products, nuts, beans, legumes, lentils and small amounts of lean meats. Avoid saturated fats. Exercise at least 150 minutes/week and increase the intensity of exercise gradually. Do not use tobacco, alcohol, weed or street drugs in any form. ...Read more
