More or less: If done correctly a negative result is reassuring. However, it depends on when you may have been exposed to HIV as it may take occasionally take 6-12 months for antibodies to form. You may repeat the test in 6 months and if it is negative and both of you have been in a mutually monogamous relation, that would be good. For good health - Have a diet rich in fresh vegetables, fruits, whole grains, low fat milk and milk products, nuts, beans, legumes, lentils and small amounts of lean meats. Avoid saturated fats.
