Reaction?: If any contact with bowl cleaner or other chemical, could be a local reaction (/"burn") from that, which may look infected on exam (hence abx/anti-fungal). The warm/moist environ slows healing. Should keep dry & aired as able (don't get arrested!) while using ointments as rx'ed. Give it a week. If not improving, get re-checked. ...Read more

You : You may be dealing with an allergy/contact dermatitis. Consider any new lotions, soaps, or products you are using in your private area. Also a new laundry detergent could be to blame.
