I have an itchy rash, pain & swelling on my chest, lips, back & hands after sun exposure. I take meds that cause photo sensitivity. Benadryl (diphenhydramine) is not he?

Avoid prolonged: Sun exposure, use sunscreen. You may have 'solar urticaria', a sort of physical urticaria, and can be precipitated by meds causing photosensitivity. If Benadryl (diphenhydramine) doesn't work, try cetirizine or loratadine, at any rate avoidance is the key. You can also try hydrocortisone cream 1% OTC.
