Not one answer: Swelling or edema can occur in patients at varying degrees of kidney disease- and the extent is also variable. Drinking water during night... Is it bad. Do we have to give rest to our kidney? Or is it a myth?
Water is healthy: Drinking water and plenty of it throughout the day (as long as it is not contaminated) is good for the kidneys. They don't need a rest--especially at 25. Most don't drink enough. The water will help clear uric acid from your body and keep the kidneys functioning normally. Worst problem is having to wake to urinate during the night. ...Read more

Abnormal liver tests: These two tests are often tests of liver function. If they are, then you will need further blood testing and maybe an ultrasound of the liver as a starting point to diagnosing the problem. Good luck. ...Read more
