Hours: Flush due to extended release niacin generally lasts for hours. Some physicians recommend aspirin or another nsaid (if you tolerate them) 30 minutes prior to taking fast-acting niacin. Proabably not: Statins should not cause leg swelling. Leg cramping or pain at times, but usually not swelling. Swelling of one leg could be due to venous insufficiency or leaky leg veins. Niacin long term: At that dose - Niacin would be safe - niacin is a B vitamin and thus water soluble so if you don't need it - the body excretes it by way of urine. Niacin at much higher doses is associated with a flushing sensation and can cause liver injury but at your dose - I believe it would be safe

You may have developed tolerance to Vyvanse (lisdexamfetamine) or other factors may be involved including change in your health status, new meds, any alcohol/drug use etc and current stresses.
